Kat A. Lynne McCormick has been writing for ‘seemingly forever’. Started on stapled sections of loose leaf paper writing about G.I. Joe (from the 1980’s Cartoon series and her real life father) which morphed into Stargate SG-1/Poltergeist the Legacy/Highlander/Star Trek RPG stories on Yahoo Groups in the early 2000’s.

Always a “Brat”. Often “Rude, crude, and uninhibited”, Kat has made it through her life by sharing her stories. Often times writing short booklets for friends for birthdays where they were involved in adventures from Le Femme Nikita (USA Network 1990’s) or Clive Cussler favorites like Dirk Pitt. Editing and printing those booklets before printers were truly that savvy.

Kat often prefers writing in the first person because it limits what can be shared. When she first started doing this, it was often considered off putting because everyone preferred the omnipotent third person. Today it has become very common place for many series.

Steam Punk has become a fascination within Kat’s family. Influencing everything from home decor to Christmas photos.
